This class so far is pretty interesting. I've learned a lot about coming of age films and what it expected or suppose to be in the films. The typical girl stuff and how a guy acts. I really like the movie splendor in the grass, because it shows that a girl might not get what she wants and she is okay with that. It is my new favorite movie!!! I think the class is very helpful for girls to see how they are portrayed in movies. I've learned to look at them from a different perspective on how not to believe that the "fairy tale" ending never really happens in real life and if it does then that girl must have some "luck." The movies that we watched like mean girls really have no outlook on real world. And some girls will try and follow that movie and it is sad. Basically I've learned that most movies well adolescent girl films are ALL THE SAME!!!
